Welcome back to another weekend fight preview! We have super fight in the heavyweight division as the two Gold Olympic champions Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk go head to head for the IBF, WBO and WBA world heavyweight titles.
As far as I know this is the first time two gold medallists (London 2012) from the same Olympics have faced each other for a world title(s).
I will actually be going down to the fight, which takes place in the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London. It will really be an intriguing fight to see two very talented heavyweight prove who is the the best.
Usyk of course has already been undisputed cruiserweight champion and is looking to cement his legacy on Saturday by becoming two weight world champion. For Joshua, he will be looking to add another big name to his resume, and what’s not better than a former undisputed champion at cruiserweight? This should also set him on his way to become undisputed at heavyweight against the winner of Fury vs Wilder. So the stakes are very high!
On that note, I’m hoping for a good fight where one or both can shine! Make sure to check out my fight prediction and breakdown video below to hear my thoughts on the fight.
I’l also leave links on my analysis videos, articles on both fighters below and of course where you can watch!
Enjoy the fight!
