This weekend will see Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant battle it out to become the first undisputed super middleweight champion of the world and tenth four belt champion – male or female.
Alvarez is the massive favorite going into this fight, as he looks to become the first Mexican to grab all four belts and seems determined to have that title considering how he has brushed through the other super middleweight to date to get there.
For Caleb Plant, he has a huge task on his hands as he will have to shock the world by defeating arguably the p4p champion in Canelo Alvarez. However, many believe, (myself included), that this will be the hardest super middleweight challenger, Canelo will have come up against.
I’m very much expecting the Mexican to go on the hunt in this fight, while Plant will look to fight on the outside using his quick speed and skills to try to frustrate Alvarez. With the Mexican at the top of his game it’s hard to see past this.
On that note, I have my breakdown and prediction video with the Good Boxing Podcast where we discuss the fight and potential outcome below.
I also have left boxing style analysis on both fighters below and training breakdown on how Canelo gets in top shape!
Wherever you are watching, hope you enjoy the fight!
