Venum Elite Boxing Shoes Review

Venum have invested in creating one of the best crafted boxing shoes, which has been designed with champions in mind. This is of course their Venum Elite Boxing Shoes which I will be reviewing for you.

I will give you an overview of some of the design features, materials of how this boxing shoe has been crafted and the pros and cons.

Personal experience

Venum boxing Shoes Review

In terms of my own personal experience using these, I have to admit that I’m very impressed by the fit and support that the shoe provides.

Venum spent two years developing these boxing shoes, and when you get your feet in them you can truly appreciate the efforts and craftsmanship gone into them.

I like that they are influenced by that old school high-top boxing shoe, but with a modern twist to it. Training with them is brilliant as the grip is perfected for things like pivoting and also feels very lightweight and not too bulky.

If you are a boxer who likes to be light on your feet, these are definitely an option you have to consider getting. In terms of feel they are quite similar to Adidas Box Hog 3 with them being quite compact on your foot. Something to keep in mind if your flat footed

The Design

Venum Elite Boxing Boots were developed alongside top boxers Jorge Linares, Miguel Berchelt, and Juan Francisco Estrada. This was so they could create a boxing shoe that would be able to suit exactly what the highest level boxers in sport want.

By working with the above boxers, they very much wanted to design a shoe for offensive fighters. For this reason they designed this with brilliant ankle support, to help with lateral movement, something attack minded boxers use a lot when cutting off the ring. While the grip on the sole was made to help defensive manoeuvre such as pivots.

For this reason the sole of the Venum Elite Boxing Shoes were created with much focus. Venum designed this to be lightweight and strong so the boxer could have greater grip and stability. This is so you are able to move quicker in the direction you want.

They also wanted to provide comfort for boxers who wear these and have used a “Honeycomb” mesh technology. This is to help the boxing shoe be a lot more breathable while also being very resistant and durable so you are able to use these shoes in the long term!

In terms of color options, they have focused on Black with associated color to help it stand out from the crowd. Check them out further below:

Materials

In terms of the main body of the shoe, Venum used three different main materials to craft the. This includes Glossy PU Patent, PU Flex, Mesh Honeycomb.

While they obviously have used a rubber outsole to increase grip and stability. The insole on the other hand has also been bonded with the rest of the boxing shoes to prevent slipping.
